The Problem

Every brewer knows a dumped batch story.
Most don't talk about it publicly.

/01

Lactobacillus & Pediococcus

The two bacterial spoilers behind roughly half of all beer contamination events. They produce off-flavors, haze, ropiness, and acidity that ruin entire batches.

/02

NOLO is most fragile

Low ethanol, higher pH, and residual sugars make non-alcoholic and low-alcohol beers a microbiological minefield.

/03

Current options are bad

Pasteurization is capex-heavy and ruins hop aroma. Sterile filtration removes desirable yeast character. Phages are expensive and need cold chain.

The Approach

Natural peptides from brewing-native ingredients.

Natural Brewer's Peptides are a blend of fermentation-derived peptides, barley protein matrix, and hop co-actives. Same kinds of ingredients you already trust in beer, concentrated for protection.

Each component is food-grade and approved for brewing use.

Saccharomyces (your brewing yeast) is unaffected. The peptides target bacterial cell walls only. Fermentation kinetics, attenuation, and flavor profile match your underlying strain.

Questions

Things brewers ask us.

What's the difference between Yeasts and Boosters?
Yeasts are commercial brewing strains pre-blended with our Natural Brewer's Peptides. One sachet, drop-in replacement for what you already use. Boosters are the peptide formulation on its own. You add a Booster to wort at pitch alongside your own preferred yeast strain. Same active ingredients, two delivery methods.
What's actually in it?
A blend of fermentation-derived peptides, barley protein matrix, and hop co-actives. All food-grade, all approved for brewing use, all derived from sources you already trust in beer. Specific composition details available under NDA for design partners and on request for technical evaluation.
Why is there no NOLO Yeast?
NOLO production is either dealcoholization of normal beer or arrested fermentation with maltose-negative strains. In both cases brewers already have a deliberate yeast strategy. NOLO Booster is powder-only so it works with any NOLO method.
Where does your yeast come from?
Bulk-sourced from established commercial yeast manufacturers. We don't develop strains. We blend their proven strains with our peptide formulation and repackage. Strain origin and lot-level COA available on request.
Is it natural?
Yes. Every component originates from food fermentation, barley, or hops. No synthetic preservatives. No GMO. Compatible with clean-label and natural-product positioning.
Will it affect my fermentation or flavor?
No. Fermentation kinetics, attenuation, and flavor profile match the underlying yeast strain. The active components target bacterial cell walls only and don't affect Saccharomyces. At our use levels they don't affect taste, aroma, foam, or color.
When do I receive product?
First production batch ships November 2026. Pre-orders placed now reserve priority. We email at each milestone. If timing slips, full refund or hold-order option.
Can I cancel a pre-order?
Yes. Any time, full refund, no questions. Email hello@belmontsbrewing.com.
